Scope and Contact

GlobalToday24x7 Bharat is part of the GlobalToday24x7 Network, serving Hindi-speaking readers. This notice describes the Bharat website and its reader features. The separately linked GlobalToday24x7 global edition and external services have their own notices. Questions about Bharat's handling of personal information can be sent to globaltoday24x7@gmail.com with Privacy Request in the subject.

Information You Provide

If you email us, we receive your message, email address and any material you choose to attach. A submitted comment includes a display name, email address and comment text. Newsletter sign-up uses an email address and a confirmation process when delivery is enabled. Do not include information about yourself or others that is unnecessary for the request.

Reading, Search and Technical Requests

Your browser connects to hosting, API and content services to load pages. These providers may process connection information such as IP address, browser information and request logs to deliver and secure their services. Search terms appear in the page URL and are sent to the search service. Links and browser history may therefore reveal the words you searched for.

Saved Articles and Browser Storage

The saved-article feature stores article references in localStorage on the current browser. Consent preferences are also stored locally so the website can remember your choice. These saved articles are not currently synchronised with a reader account. Clearing site data removes local preferences and saved references; another person using the same browser may be able to see them.

Comments and Moderation

Comments are held for editorial moderation. If approved, the display name and comment text appear publicly; the email address is not included in the public comment list. Do not put personal contact details or private records in a public comment. Contact us by email if you want us to review a comment or information associated with it.

Newsletters and Browser Notifications

When newsletter delivery is available, you must confirm the email address before the subscription becomes active. Subscription records include status and technical confirmation or unsubscribe information. Unsubscribing stops that subscription but does not necessarily erase all operational records. Browser alerts require both browser permission and a separate sign-up; the server stores a push endpoint and associated delivery keys. Reader Preferences lets you unsubscribe, and your browser settings control notification permission.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

The website uses browser storage for reader choices and may use cookies or similar technologies through optional services. Google Analytics and AdSense load only when configured and permitted by your consent choice. You can change that choice on Reader Preferences. Our analytics configuration omits URL query parameters and fragments from page-view measurement and excludes form pages such as search, contact and subscription. Advertising and analytics providers describe their own processing in their policies.

External Media and Linked Services

Images, web fonts and embedded media may load from other providers. Loading an embed can send your connection information to that provider before you interact with it. Sharing links and network links take you to services governed by their own notices. Please review the relevant provider's privacy information before submitting personal details there.

Purpose and Service Providers

Information is used to deliver pages and reader features, moderate contributions, respond to enquiries, manage requested subscriptions, understand permitted usage measurements and protect the service. Hosting, database, email, media and delivery providers may process the information needed for their role. Information may also need to be preserved or disclosed to meet applicable obligations or address a specific legal request.

Storage, Retention and Security

Browser-only data remains until you remove it or the browser clears it. Server-side records and provider logs have different operational needs; this site does not claim a single automatic deletion period for every record. Requests to review or delete personal information should identify the relevant feature and email address. Hosted services may process data outside your location. We use access controls and other technical measures, but no online service or ordinary email channel can guarantee absolute security.

Your Requests and Choices

You can clear browser data, change optional service consent, unsubscribe from newsletters or push alerts, and ask us to review, correct or delete information you have provided. Explain the request and the relevant article or feature; we may need proportionate information to verify that it concerns you. Avoid sending identity documents unless a need and an appropriate way to provide them have been established. Requests are assessed subject to applicable requirements and record-preservation needs.

Children and Sensitive Information

Public news can be read without signing up. Children should not submit personal information or subscribe without the involvement of a parent or guardian where required. If you believe a child has supplied information that should be removed, contact the editorial inbox and identify the relevant feature. Do not send financial credentials, passwords or unnecessary sensitive personal records through comments or email.

Changes to This Notice

We update this page when reader features or information practices materially change. The revision date appears at the top. A newly available feature may provide further information at the point of use; optional analytics and advertising continue to follow the consent controls described here.
